Job Purpose: We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Reading FC Community Trust team as an U15 Girls Academy Coach. You will be responsible for creating an environment to maximise the development of young players within our U15 age group.

About U15 Girls’ Academy Coach

Main Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions in line with the club's philosophy and values
  • Review and evaluate playing style and game model based
  • Develop individual players to excel and progress through the player pathway
  • Team selection and effective communication of decisions to players
  • Oversee match day duties eg. Warm up, tactics and feedback
  • To be responsible for producing progress reviews for all U15 players
  • Attend all relevant CPD events
  • Ensure you are aware and keep updated on all Reading FC Community Trust policies and procedures
  • Ensure the safeguarding of participants is at the forefront of all decisions and the Reading FC Community Trust Safeguarding Policy is adhered to at all times.
  • To ensure the safety of participants is always prioritised.

Qualifications:

  • FA Level 2/UEFA C
  • Emergency First Aid
  • FA Safeguarding Children
  • Valid DBS

Desirable:

  • UEFA B
  • FA Talent Level 1 or 2

Experience:

  • Working in a youth football environment for a minimum of 2 years

Desirable:

  • Experience working in an Academy environment

  • Able to work collaboratively in a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passionate about player development

Other:

  • Driving License and access to vehicle is essential

Hours of Work:

Tuesday: 6 pm-7:30 pm

Thursday: 6:30 pm- 8 pm

Saturdays: times vary depending on kick-off
