All of the money that is raised through fundraising goes towards our projects and the people we help.

Tri Days

In 2015 we are looking to provide three "tri-Days" to enable para athletes to come and learn the basics of triathlon and have a go at the different aspects of the sport. We will be working with expert coaches and giving taster sessions on all three disciplines and what is involved with doing a para – triathlon. We aim to ensure that support is provided on the day to ensure that all participants get the most out of it and will provide further support to enable athletes to continue in the sport of Triathlon.

We are currently looking into venues in the North, Midlands and South. Please contact us if you can offer some support with venues or coaching.

Athlete Funding Support

With the help of all our fundraisers, we have managed to raise funds to support 8 athletes with funding to purchase Prosthetic limbs which cost between £5,000 and £12,000 each. These have enabled the recipients to pursue more options within sport as it has allowed them the freedom to Run! We also help athletes with other expenses such as race entries and travel to ensure that it remains possible to take part in sport. This is done via our Grant program which is to be released later this year.

Equipment

Some of the funds we raise will go towards purchasing equipment for athletes to borrow or to use. This includes handbikes and racing wheelchairs as well equipment that is necessary for other sport s.
