Join Be Active as a Senior Relationship Manager!

6 Months maternity cover – 3 days a week - £42,283 full time pro rata.

A tremendous opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to take on this exciting role within the Active Partnership team covering maternity leave. Working closely with our Director and the Officer for Health and Inequalities, it is a great opportunity to develop relationships across health and social care and drive this important agenda forwards for Be Active, in a professional and dynamic way.

We are looking for someone who will work collaboratively with stakeholders to tackle inequalities to ensure physical activity is embedded across health and care pathways and meets the needs of the whole community, encompassing groups who have additional barriers to being active.

You will be responsible for exciting whole system change pieces of work where we look to address deep rooted inequalities and utilise physical activity as a key driver to support the prevention and management of long-term health conditions and enable people to spend more years in good health. This will all need to be aligned with the BLMK prevention plan and involve a close working relationship with ICB partners to support our vision of a Healthier Happier Bedfordshire.

You will need to understand the role of the Active PartnershipBe Active and our remit in terms of underpinning the Sport England Strategy, Uniting the Movement. You will need to demonstrate a desire to add value to a successful team.

This post will involve some flexibility around working from home and other bases, with travel around Bedfordshire expected as well as some regional and national travel.
